I apologize for the continued absence. It will, unfortunately, have to continue until an as yet unknown time. There is to be no knitting, little typing, and much cursing in my near future, as I have been diagnosed with de Quervain's tenosynovitis, a form of tendonitis in my dominant thumb. It is probably from a combination of work (chemistry = pipetting) and hobbies (knitting, etc.) and is causing much disturbance in daily life.
The promised photos will arrive as soon as I get the opportunity.
For now, I'll be back ASAP.
Please wait for me!

Oh sorry to hear of your thumb problems!! Take care! I'll be here! :)
Sorry to hear about your thumb. Take care!
I was diagnosed with tendonitis and I thought I'd not be able to crochet much anymore. But then I found this chiropractor who could adjust my wrists. Now I make a living with my crocheting, and if it starts hurting again (as it does about once or twice a year), I just go into the chiropractor's and get my wrists adjusted again. I don't know if it would help in your condition, but it would probably be worth a try at least, before having surgery.
