OK.
Remember way back when? Yeah, then.
Scary, huh?
I promised "pictures later".
Guess what?
It's later.
These are pictures of the Rippling Waters scarf I finished a long long time ago (in a galaxy far far away...)
It was fun to knit, the color was called "wombat", and it looks delicate and lacy when worn.
What more could I ask for in a scarf?
Oh, yeah - it's warm, too.
And...I lied.
There's one more thing I haven't shown you.
Here's the Baby Surprise Jacket (aka the BSJ) I was knitting for my goddaughter.
Of course, she outgrew it before I finished.
So I gave it to a coworker's daughter.
And she outgrew it before she ever wore it. So her mom gave it back.
Now I have a baby girl sweater, and no baby girl to give it to.
Know anyone who would appreciate a handknit sweater and has a girl around 1 year old?

My niece is 9 months old, but I understand she is large for her age (as all sister's children were before her.)
Besides the age, are there any other measurements that might indicate whether she might fit?
Heh. I have one of those, too, and no baby to give it to. I figure one is bound to turn up sooner or later. Lucky it's a classic style! :-)
What makes it a girly sweater? I see a nice blue with red and white stripes - perfectly good for a boy.
