So I drove the mower over to the fixit shop this morning. (First time in my life that I pulled a trailer...) I handed the mechanic the random rubber strap that fell off it yesterday and he said "What's this?"

"Well, I was hoping you could tell me!"

Is it a bad sign when the mechanic has no clue what the thing is that is in your hand that came off your machine?

Or is it just expensive?
