Getting There

Hi!

I can hardly believe I'm starting to get some energy back. This Epstein-Barr thing has really had me drained. It could still take up to a year to get over it, but I can finally feel some improvement. I can't go out and ride my bike 75 miles in a day, in fact 10 miles wiped me out for 4 days, but I can pick up sticks in the yard for an hour and not be completely out of it the next day. It's still extremely easy to overdo it, and I'll pay for it for quite some time. But I'm not exhausted from vacuuming the house anymore.

So there's the story. Or part of it, anyway. My Doctor still thinks we're missing something and is sending me for more tests over the next couple of weeks. At least she's being thorough. I'd rather go through all this and be told I'm fine than to miss something important and regret it later!

And I'm still knitting. I have to sit and recuperate alot, and I can finally knit and not get wiped out. (Yes, it was that bad!) Resting is the order of the day, week, and month. And potentially, the six-months. But with a pretty yard, a screened gazebo, and comfy outdoor furniture, it's really not such a terrible thing, is it?

It's not even 8pm, and I'm wiped out-ready for bed. But I had a full day, even spinning some this evening (I had given it up for a while because it made my legs to tired to treadle...) Bug's getting ready for bed, and I'm just checking in to say howdy.

Thanks for looking in on me!

Life is still good.

I'm glad life is still good. And yes, it is better that they be through with the tests.

Rest up and come back when you can!

I've been thinking of you a lot. Glad to hear things are getting slowly better.
This is a miserable disease.

I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better. Don't try to push yourself too hard! If ever there was a time to try to take things slowly, this is it.

I don't have your personal email and I'm assuming you won't be in your office til Tuesday.
Thank you soooo much for your help yesterday. I really wasn't expecting anything except your great company and instead I got your company and the benefit of your fabulous organizing talent.
I've been thinking a lot about the marketing stuff we talked about too and am feeling a lot encouraged. Thank you so much!
I think we forgot about Galina
but I'll see you again this Saturday I hope! As well as the batt boy.
