The alpaca shawl is lovely, and I've worn it several times now!
I'm almost finished with another shawl! I started the edging yesterday.
And none of that bothers me one bit because...
I"M GOING ON VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I haven't had a real vacation since my Little Boy was a chubby 6-month-old baby. And we went with my parents to Disney, in Florida, and well...I came home so sick I don't remember the last day or so, or the plane ride, or anything for a while there. Flying on a crowded plane with a 104F fever is NOT fun.
And now is my chance to go and enjoy myself for a little while! My Bug went with his dad on Saturday morning, and will be coming home on Sunday. I'm leaving after work to go sailing, windsurfing, and bicycling, wherever and whenever I please until I have to be home Sunday morning! I've had that old song playing in my head: Come sail away, come sail away, come sail away with meeeeeeee!!
