Nearly-Ending Torso Sock

So I'm home, sick, again. And, sad as it is to say, it feels pretty good to sleep in, eat soup, rest, knit, and get paid. Gotta love sick days. Even if I do feel crappy.

I am making progress on the NeverEnding Torso Sock. I know I haven't posted a picture in a long time, but then, when you're knitting for a grown man with yarn the size of sock yarn...progress is slow and not very picture-worthy.

It is, however, growing. Despite my firm belief to the contrary.

For evidence: one crappy picture as the batteries on my camera died.

To recap, it's made from Frangiapani gansey 5-ply that I ordered from across the pond. I've been working on this for nearly 2 years - since Christmas 2006. I really, really want to finish so I can move on to other projects. This gansey is the reason I haven't finished anything in a long time. I've discovered project monogamy, and it seems to be working. I might actually finish this thing before the boat comes out of the water!

I'm trying to get back in the swing of posting, now that I can talk about things. So I present for your absolute viewing pleasure, the cutest baby in the world: Felito*. Sunday was his first birthday party.

Happy Birthday Baby! You're awesome!
