I've been knitting, I've been travelling, and I've been just plain busy. And I can't possibly update it all in this one sitting. But I will give a brief rundown of recent events, and fill in the details (and photos) later. Hopefully tonight.
The socks for the Little Boy are almost done. The heel is turned and I'm into the ribbing on the second sock. They are currently in the truck of my mother's car, as the result of a story that requires photos. Trust me, it's worth the wait.
I started my first ever lace shawl. Twice. It's currently a tiny little bitty scrap of yarn attached to circular needles.
And I went to Maryland Sheep and Wool, and generally amused myself with friends in the Baltimore/Annapolis area for a long weekend, and infected a friend with the spinning bug. I bought way less yarn than I intended, but spent more $$ than I intended.
I had a fabulous time, got the vacation I needed (sans child) and returned home to absolute chaos (of course).
And I most certainly hope to get back to regular posting now that life is returning to it's normal chaos, and not the chaos of leaving on a vacation.
